The Schedules below are starting rates for criminal defense and protective orders.

General Terms

  1. These Schedules are provided for informational purposes only and do not create a binding engagement for any matter.

  2. All quoted fees are starting rates as of November 6, 2025, and may change based on case type, complexity [consistent with North Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct Rule 1.5(a)], prior record, number of charges, number of counts, distance from Elsherbini Law PLLC’s office, and other factors.

  3. Actual rates will vary. Client remains responsible for all rates, and Elsherbini Law PLLC may require advance deposits before incurring costs. Client acknowledges responsibility for these fees even if the case is dismissed or withdrawn prior to completion.

  4. Fees include consultation, discovery review, and the first appearance in court for Firm.

  5. Unless otherwise noted in the tables below, fees exclude additional appearances in court, court fees, expert witnesses, investigators, and other expenses.

  6. Tier adjustments are added for distance from Elsherbini Law PLLC’s office for each appearance.

  7. Payment plans are available with a fifty percent (50%) initial payment for amounts over $2,000.
